I think some investors see greater security and potentially better short term gains in the older industrial/cyclical stocks that have been battered down for most of the last year. The bastions of the internet were hammered today possibly causing more negative sentiment in the techs. Short term in could create some good tech buys. Long term those industrial/cyclic stocks just can't post the kind of gains that the techstocks can.
