Robert. The talk on Meet The Press and Steve Case was mostly about kids on the internet and how AOL is helping parents to keep an eye on their kids and what could be done about all that smut and violence being delivered to kids via the net and email. He thought that general actions being taken should come not just from the net, but would have to include the outside world.

If parents are worried about their kids, AOL should get more sign ups after this interview.

Yes, I also hope that AOL will be moving in the right direction again soon. Sometimes a stock moves in the wrong direction no matter what the company does. It looks like the stock went down when the thinking was that AOL would lay out money to go for Media One and now it went probably down because AOL seems to be out of the picture. I have been mulling this Media One and AOL and Msft deal over for sev. days and have now decided to just let AOL handle this. gg.

Cowen & Co. raised AOL's target price to 265. I would be happy with 200 this year. So, what's a cpl points up or down between friends? I am holding this stock for the long term anyhow and try to look at the bright side, despite this down turn when the DOW made it past the 11,000 mark.

This ridiculous article about AMZN in Barron's def. did NOT help the internet sector today.

I am sure that we are not the only ones looking around for cos. that would fit into AOL's business strategy. I am sure AOL is with us on that score. Could be that they are even ahead of us when it comes to that. gg.

Just think about that Steve Case said a cpl of weeks ago that his aim is to be one of the most valued cos. I don't believe that 2 weeks have changed his aim despite the cos. gyrating stock price.
