Consider that the software in a typical bundle nowadays is shipped without a jewel case or paper manual. A lot now simply come in a paper sleeve with a .PDF file and Acrobat Reader on the CD. Assuming this is the case with the Diamond "bundle", it should cost them little more to send than whatever AOL pays to annoy you with their "50 Hours Free!" CD's. Anybody want to take bets that the boxes won't mention this "feature" of the "bundle" except in the microprint? Seems to me a ploy to try and cut costs through customer deception. A rude surprise awaits some....

UPDATE: Just for grins, I priced what the full boxed versions of Sin and Starsiege Tribes (two on Diamond's list) would cost to send from Buy.com: $10.38...
