SF...started the day off losing on 3 options positions.. If I hadn't changed course to the earnings plays and net banks I would still be down. I was afraid already during the weekend that the nets might have another correction. I am still holding my 5 nets 4 of which actually did okay today: NITE,NTBK,EPAY,VRIO,EXDS ..

I expected action in the 'earnings plays' while preparing the newsletter charts. That is why I do the charts in the first place, to learn about the companies both fundamentally and technically. Hopefully others can benefit as well. EXPD was the featured stock as AHAA was last week. I got dumped on my AOL, GNET and AMZN options (8-10 calls each over 9k lost) but I had a choice, to stop or aggressively claw my way back to profitability and I chose the later.

I changed my strategy to the net banks early on basically after 'researching' SWS one more time after being stopped out a week ago. and finding TBFC and checking that their earnings are going to be out today noted its terrific bullish chart (also in the newsletter) Also was a very good article on the net banks in Business week which I posted on the thread. If it weren't for my last minute foray into AOL and AMZN options it would have been an easy and 100% profitable climb up today.

The nets will be back..
