Craig A: great post! my experience and my sentiments exactly! I paid tremendous taxes for 1998. Primarily because i sold some ebay in December. Needless to say, holding those shares would have been preferable. At any rate, i am riding this inet correction through. The inet revolution is only in its adolescence. rob

Craig, reading your post makes me feel the greatness of the internet.

Years back, you have to trade through broker, you have to do research
alone and mostly, when you made a mistake, there is no one to share
your feeling, because there is no such thing called internet.

I did same things you experienced in your post and felt bad but couldn't tell no one, felt defeat all the times.

Now, we can share feelings, share experience and knowledge with this
Internet, this is the new business called free internet therapy.

There are times, I bought in other stocks, but their chat room is like
ghost town, you could experience loneliness only, make you think the bad old days!

But look at this room, good or bad day, we always
have people exchanging ideas, just for this reason alone, I 'need'
to hold AOL!

I used to think I am alone in this but now I felt a lot better because
we all made mistake and we all learned the same conclusion.

There is no doubt that AOL is the MSFT/CSCO/INTC/DELL in its early
stage, it is very possible that we can make ourselves an AOL millionaire but the single biggest enemy is ourselves.

I must admit that 'buy/sell/time the market' always whispering to my
ear, but I am fighting...

There is no free lunch, you want to become millionaire, you must
pay price: your patience!

Thanks for sharing.
