Noah re: S&P500 2beta short fund is ProFunds Ultrabear symbol is URPIX. I am in no way recommending this fund, I am using it for a mild hedge for the moment and obviously you can get killed in a bull market especially if we're getting some type of blow off top here. Also there are potential tax issues if you are holding S%P500 funds or SPYders since the IRS has limited shorting against the box and thus can cause unwanted tax implications. Suggest anyone at least become aware of these issues if considering hedging a similar position. Potomac also offers funds like these and of course Rydex has some leveraged funds but not the same as ProFunds Marc
