Siva,
My approach to investing is FA with TA sprinkled in to figure out entry and exit points. I haven't found any rules of FA that exist to value (or should I say justify their current prices) companies such as AMZN and many of the others that are included in Auric's index. Other than making a trade based on technical behavior of these stocks nothing in my constitution will allow me to take a long position in any of these stocks and sleep well at night. That said it is obvious that a number of people (visionary's, dreamer's or just dumb luck whatever) have made a pretty good buck playing the long side of these stocks. IMHO it ain't going to go on forever and the phenomonial amounts that have been made can easily be lost. At some point these companies will be valued using more traditional methods. Every realstic attempt that I have seen puts the values in a approximate range of 10-20% of their current share price and that's generous.
I will say I am enjoying following the "phenomena", having read about prior mania's in history (railroads, radio to mention a few). History is in the making, but as they say history repeats itself.
Best Regards, Mad2
