Whysl,
The thread always falls to bickering and insults when Compaq does poorly. I don't think it is really personal. Just manifestation of Compaq manic depression syndrome. As the stock starts to improve so will the thread spirits. Then we will enjoy Compaq euphoria.

Compaq is like riding a roller coaster. When the coaster plunges downward fear takes over and everyone screams their head off. Then comes a slow ride up with everyone enjoying the view and comparing notes on the last scary ride down. The discussion turns to how high we are going. The sky is the limit! Toward the top of the ride up everyone starts fearing the next ride down, but no one gets off. After all the darn thing doesn't stop at the top and politely announce an opportunity to leave. You have to jump while it is moving. A very difficult task made even more difficult when you see how fast it moves on the plunges down.

Unfortunately, I even fell victim to Compaq manic depression last week and jumped on Howie for a post. Not on of my finer moments.

Keep your cost basis under $30 and you could make a small fortune. At least that is my personal theory.
