Rocketman, but it all depends at what price. bottomline to me is that if i am a cable subscriber and i can get inferior athm service for free versus paying an additional $21 a month for aol, i would most likely choose the former. don't get me wrong, am very long aol, just trying to be real here....

What good will the 17MM subscribers do if they are not hooked onto the broadband backbone ?

T has ATHM for that, but you hit the bullseye, it's internet telephone. ATHM will eventually merge with RR under T's control.....
the most likely scenario is that AOL will cut a deal with ATHM/RR to provide content to supplement the content be provided by FOX and R. Murdock.
