GREAT INFO DIRECT FROM eDIGITAL;

This is the response I just received direct from eDigital. Great news! Pass it on!

Thank you for writing. Please forgive the delay in my reply.

EDIG has secured an agreement with Intel Corp. wherein e.Digital will
develop a number of prototype voice recorders which Intel will then market
to Intel's OEM customers. Interested parties will be referred back to
e.Digital for licensing and/or further design and manufacturing work.

These prototype voice recorders will be built to Intel's specs and can
download data to the PC. They will interact with third-party software
packages that perform voice-to-text and text-to-voice functions.

e.Digital is also an inaugural member of the VoiceTIMES alliance, along
with IBM, Dictaphone, Intel, Norcom Electronics, Olympus, and Philips. The
goal of VoiceTIMES is to "coordinate the technical requirements needed for
companies to build and deploy solutions using voice technologies and
handheld mobile devices."

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Best regards,

Wendy Ravenel

There is no doubt that our relationship with IBM is "key" in all of this.

With respect to SDMI, IBM is one of the 3 companies that is active (this list may grow)on the Functional Requirements Working Group within SDMI.

Sony Music Entertainment and Victor Company of Japan are the other 2 companies.
