Just in case folks outside of the DC Metro area aren't familiar with this, a fellow in the DC gov't was run out of his position for using that word in public. It caused quite an uproar locally. Evidently some illiterate folks thought it racist because it sounds like, well, you know. It is an example of PC gone mad.
