ALTS annual conference today through Wednesday.

(trans, ww, others - any attend and have some firsthand reports?)

I know Bill Rouhana spoke on the panel today (Kennard was said to be vocally appreciative at having BR and WCII there). This was a major industry affair with most major players attending (and a subset on panels). Bear Stearn's Jim Henry was on a panel just a little while ago and purportedly highlighted the value of BBFW as a fundamental broadband access technology.

I'll post the ALTS schedule when I get it. The website doesn't have a good agenda link ( alts.org )

Tomorrow has Rouhana at a morning panel at a hard to get into (recently, over 600 had applied for ~300 seats) Governali/CSFB's Broadband conference.

IMO, we (WCII stock price watchers) will get a boost out of tomorrow's CSFB conference (as well as fro today's ALTS), as well as some PR going into earnings. (What if WinStar's Office.com gets a valuation like VERT? Office.com currently has significantly greater revenues than VERT)

And anyone want to pitch in and get a copy of Strategis' report? At ~$4,800 for pdf, 8 people pitching in would be ~$600/person (don't expect to find details of this report here)

also enjoy/bookmark the telecom links available at New Paradigm's alts.com site: alts.com

And good price for NXLK to sell some shares (and why they weren't at ALTS and won't be at CSFB tomorrow):
