ELON, hmmm. I have been watching some of the members of this board scream about ELON for quite some time now and I have come to a rather disturbing conclusion. Unless I am missing something, or perhaps the ELON traders of this board are missing something, AMXX is a much better value. As a matter of fact, except for hype, I can't figure out why anyone would own ELON at these levels. Look at my comparisons if you would. AMXX ELON Market Cap =77.6m / 261.4m (236.85% higher) Sales =68.4m / 33m (less than 1/2 the sales) Earnings(ttm)=2.94m (4.3%) / -5.85m (-18%) Float = 3.8m / 5m Book =2.02m / 1.10m (1/2 the net worth, less each qrt) P/B = 4.3 / 7.28 P/E =27.32 / n/a (never had any that I could find) P/S = 1.1 / 6.81 (ridiculous, not safe to own) Employees = 317 / 116 (half the manpower) Growth rates: 1yr =41.75% / 13.78% 3yr =29.14% / 11.32% 5yr =28.42% / 22.77% Well there you have it. It seems pretty clear to me that AMXX has ELON beat hands down as far as fundamental and perhaps even technological advantages. So what am I missing?? ELON's growth has actually been deteriorating while AMXX has been accelerating. So who is pumping up ELON?? And what are their motives?? It seems to me these 2 companies are pretty much doing the same thing. Am I wrong?? I am not a technological genius by any means, so I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what ELON's technological advantage is over AMXX. For the record, I am not in either stock. One more interesting note. Look at insider activity. Neither company shows me any insider confidence, but Edventure Capital is looking to dump 1 million shares of ELON on the market. Kinda makes you wonder about all this recent publicity, huh??
