D-man...Most website's contain some sort of image on it... In some cases it's what's called a "gif" and in some cases it's what's called a "jpeg"... Jpeg's contain more memory in them than do gif's and take a much longer time to load on your screen... Jpeg's also offer a much more clearer uncompressed image...

IPZ is developing a technology that will compress and therefore load "jpeg's" on your screen at a much faster rate... They're called "Jbigs" I believe...

-also-

IPZ is developing a system that will turn a fax into an e-mail and compress it at the same time, therefore initiating a much faster transmission over existing phone lines...

At least this is what I'm being led to believe...

EFAX (nasdaq) is apparently testing IPZ's technology out...

Street rumours must be flying, as I haven't heard nor seen anything on the net that can quantify a run like we had today...

Hope this helps a bit...

D'man. If you do not mind me directing you to the www.stockhouse.com site. Click on "bullboards" and then type in IPZ in the little window.
There is a participant named: ceo2b who has given some in depth analysis of IPZ. It is too late for me to explain everything to you. I think our friend has given us a nice explanation on this thread and I would like to add one thing. I called the company and left a message:
2 good things:
1. They are moving to downtown Vancouver 'cause they are expanding
2. Their sale folks are too busy or too tied up with more important customers than too take on other customers. (I think they are just holding off because they company is in serious merger talks)
