Hi, Badon518 -- As a single data point, I'm not sure it's terribly significant. But when you compare it with other months, it shows some investor sentiment. The key part is the days to cover (shares short / ADV) When that number gets high, it can exert some downward pressure. Given that the number increased only slightly and we nonetheless shed $80-100 from the intra-April high, I'm surprised. I would have thought there was more short pressure -- I'm not seeing a significant amount. What will be more interesting is to see the numbers for May, given the 5/27 split. Oh, and to all: it's now May, which means the official "Gee, is this stock splitting soon?" season is now underway. It will be followed by the "If I have the shares on the record date, do I get the split?" season... <G>
