I was attempting to point out that the PC encroachment in the lower end is being offset by the SUNW gains in the higher end market. I did not make any claim that SUNW received the bulk of their margin in high end server sales, this is something you picked out of thin air, or inferred from my post.

That is all.

To clarify further. My reference to "big dollars" is a reference to the % growth in market share for that segment of the business. It's those big dollars, which also happen to be high margin dollars, that will continue to propel the stock higher and justify a higher PE then the norm.

At least that's the way I see it. I understand concerns about SUNW's valuation but I also believe that "traditionally", the street didn't give SUNW it's due and we see today that SUNW's long term vision has started to come true. I can't tell you how many times during the past few years that I was told that SUNW was going to be crushed by the WINTEL juggernaut. Those are the same folks who said that SUNW's valuation should be the same as the "traditional" hardware manufacturers.

Those are the same folks who now wish they had purchased SUNW a few years ago like many of us on this thread did!

Again, just my 2 cents,
Michael
