Eugene, I am going to take 59 if not taken already. Only because I expect tech weakness, and no sustained general tech stock rally until June.

I, based on the DW high of '97, will take $71 after Earnings with the breakout coming in June.

Just my opinion.

Paul

Preliminary Estimates thus far. Applied Materials closing price on May 21 st.

Gottfried.. 49

William ....57

Kearney.....59

Jerome......62

Kerecz......65

William Griffin 57

Jeffrey D....72

We probably should give anyone a chance to enter until this Friday's close. We haven't heard from Duker, Ian, or Justa.

Based on these estimates I would be inclined to write a May 60 covered call for 4 or a May 65 for 2 1/2.

I did notice that again today about 900 contracts total
were written for the May 60's and the 65's. I don't know if these were covered calls or naked calls. It would be nice to know which of these were taking place.

I'll resummerize again at the end of the week.
