About the same time I was four, playing with plastic lined annual reports from Merrill Lynch . Piled them up very high and knocked them down instead of blocks. Tore out the pictures and plastered them to the walls and floors. Graphs, earnings, bottom lines. My dad would have to read them to me to get me to nap, only he ended up napping.... and I kept reading.....

In '65,'66 I was finishing my Sr. year at Los Angeles County-USC School of Nursing, assigned surgical ward 9700 on the night shift as charge nurse, taking care of transients who made me rings from paper straws, caring for gun shot wounds and helping the alcoholics through their DTs. Stocks? That's what I did in the store room, restock the supplies.......

Twick: Yeah, charts were forbidden. They wanted us to push the "Master List" stocks prepared by the poo-bah's down at the 11 Wall St. home office...kinda like Moses comin down the mountain every month or so with his 10-best for the great unwashed. So I hid my charts in my bottom right desk drawer. A sharp observer would've seen me looking down and to the right a lot. Did Ok, but I was young and stupid and just trying to learn my trade. Now I'm older and still stupid, but I've learned to trade. Never suggest that anyone buy or sell anything, 'cause I hate to see people I care for lose...which is why I may not seem to "participate" as some of you do on the posts (and I really appreciate a lot of the comments and ideas.) If asked though, I will share what I'm doing or thinking.
