I don't know about the conspiracy theories however but some arguments for why pcln will stabilize or gain, travel is a premiere internet space, mkt huge, business model closer to ebay than amzn (no inventory or expensive warehousing) yet, no one has been able to dominate. Ptvl came out with a bang and squandered their early lead with a bunch of mgmt blunders and now there is no leadership there. There are some even weaker players travelscape, etc. and travelocity on the outside (ties with sabre) but again nobody really formidable. Then came pcln with strong leadership and business plan and they appear to be making powerful inroads into travel. First to dominate is all important in e-business and there you have it. I will not short this stock, if you do cover any losses quickly, jmo. Michelle
