here is a weekly xau "line" chart going back one year. one observation: from the late Sep 98 high of 80+ to the lst of april low of 60 on the line chart we can say that we had a 9 waves dow that might have POSSIBILY signaled the end of this bear market in the xau. that would mean that we had what the EW'er say was a 9th wave FAILURE. that is that i didn't get my final 9th wave low down...with the breakout on the monthly stochastics and a POSSIBLE breakthru coming in the 89 ema, this is one of the alternatives i'm looking at right now...but then we have these falling platinum and paladium price.... best bet is to just wait and see what unfolds.. bigcharts.com
