Each side has it's rhetoric. Bottom line is we're in breach of the U.N. doctrines that map out NATO's mandate; we've broken international law. Where was NATO to set up an autonomous region for the 800,000 Serb refugees in 1995 ? What did NATO do when 10,000 Serbs were executed in Croation in 1995 ? Why isn't the historic Kosovo Albanian violence that sparked this whole thing on the news as well ? Why isn't NATO cleaning it's own house first; Turkey has slaughtered some 37,000 Kurds since 1983.

Operation Allied Bungle was incompetence to the max from the negotiating table to it's execution. No doubt we're in for more bunglitis ... probably on Apache roll-out.

You really believe what you wrote? I've heard about 75% of what you wrote parrotted on CNN, et. al. for a month at least. Apparently brainwashing does work. Let's see.....what was that quote about the bigger the lie the more they will believe it...

I suggest that you reread your post then logically disassemble it. See if you can verify the facts. Just because your friend works at the State dept. doesn't give him/her credibility. It has been shown by the western print press(even!) that NATO has lied and evaded the truth since day 1. The State Dept. along with BC have aided and abetted the deception.

I will agree with you on one point, Milosevic has been unable to overcome the barrage of proganda spewed out by the spoon fed TV media.

This does lend credibility to Clinton's "poll" politics theory. Most folkds can't remember the last commercial.

Jarett,

The Blairs, Clinton and Chirac of this world do not care about the people of Kosovo any more, or any less, than they care about the people of Rwanda, Sudan, Angola, Ethiopia, Timor, Tibet etc...

What they secretely care about is their popularity, and covering their ass in order not to look stupid.

Continuing the war until Serbia is turned to a pile of rubles may be satisfying for some, but will not help the Kosovar in the long term.

Right now, a cease fire needs to be negotiated so that humanitarian organizations can go inside Kosovo and help people there.
