Sonny,

I could stand to see AOL go up some. There was some encouraging news in the last earnings statement that seemed to get shuffled under the rug by the analysts. The piece of information I am referring to is that the revenues grew faster than a linear function of the number of subscribers. This is the reason people invest in AOL, or so I thought.

INTC went up today, breaking a somewhat discouraging losing streak. What kills me is that INTC is such a juggernaut in the industry. For such an admired and feared competitor, they don't seem to get as much respect outside of the industry (i.e. on Wall Street).

DELL was up again, marginally but significantly. Now, all we need is for CSCO and LU to get back on the bus along with the pharms. I can't believe that the DOW got to 11,000+ without the pharms leading the way. Yet another example of how little I understand the world, at least short-term trends. I seem to be OK on longer-term trends.

I am eager for DELL's earnings announcement. I suspect it will be good. That could make people sit up and take notice of the tech sector once again.
