<<I believe the reason for that is that there is no good reason for Schering to expend any resources in Mexico and no one can come up with one.>>

Here's one: They have a product to sell and only one country in which they are allowed to sell it. But you say they do not want to realize any revenues. Perfect sense. Everything is a big secret because Schering is formulating a dynamite marketing plan that is going to blow Viagra off the sales charts. Uh-huh. And no one can refute your argument because there is no evidence to disprove it so it must be true (conveniently ignoring the fact that there is also no evidence to prove it, either).

Obtaining clearance to sell Vasomax in Mexico did require the expenditure of some resources (maybe not much, I don't know what is involved in the process in Mexico). After expending those resources there were no sales recognized. There are various reasons why that might be the case, but just because there is no proof that can refute your explanation doesn't give your WAG any more validity than anyone else's.

Do you post to or follow any threads besides the ZONA thread?

Bruce: How much advertising does Viagra do in Mexico? My bet is little to none. If they have sales and Vasomax doesn't, that proves something: Viagra will outsell Vasomax where neither advertise much.

I'm not convinced that there was no Vasomax advertising, but if so, there was also no Viagra advertising.

I never saw the point of trying the Mexico market, but Schering did try. Lack of sales is a failure, no matter how you cut it.

There was someone quoted here from Schering on more than one occasion, claiming something silly (in my view) like billions of dollars of sales for Vasomax would be forthcoming. Schering has not been silent.
