I heard that you did some work for SI.
If that's true, when you were working for them, did you wait three and a half hours to respond to them?
Just a question on the BW thing. When was it decided that you were "pranking" BW? I have a feeling that the idea that you were "pranking" BW didn't come until AFTER the lawsuit. I think that originally, it was decided to use BW as a credibility builder for the prank that was to be accomplished through SI. After all, last year the FBN thread was utilized to humilate people who didn't get the joke. Did you use a news agency last year???If not, why not??

Okay Bill, fair enough. But I still think that you should have contritely viewed yourself as being at the mercy of Business Wire's wishes, and immediately (if not sooner) removed the Byline as requested, rather than pompously and defiantly subjecting Business Wire to the YOUR mercy by taking your s*w*e*e*t little 'ol time. Business Wire's wishes should have taken precedence over your "busy-ness," in my opinion. In three hours a whole lot can happen with a trademark, and I can totally understand Business Wire wanting pronto removal of anything that could mark their endorsement of the "untrue" Webnode fabrication.

So... correct me if I am wrong. Business Wire contacted you privately and respectfully and asked that you remove the Byline, and during the course of your initial exchanges, BizWire DID NOT threaten you with legal consequences. Correct?
