Stock Bull, If I were Steve Case I would have contacted WCOM and tell them to make a bid for UMG along with COMCAST. In return I would extend our current working relationship to include access to the pipes. I would pay him an arranged fee for their use and share profits to a pre-determined amount on wealth gain from the access subscriptions gained.

I would provide my AOL content #1 in the world to make their pipes the most sought after broadband net service. This alone will increase memberships, revenues, and profits to AOL, WCOM, and COMCAST.

This would also give me the leverage I need in case T wants to negotiate. Since I would be now competing in his turf, T will be forced to negotiate with AOL since it cannot compete against 17+million subscribers now on broadband!!!

That's what I will do.
