Kowboy, It surprises me that Antoine's question bothered you. You have presented yourself as someone in the "know" where ABFG is concerned. Yet when someone asks you a question that would be normal in the course of doing DD on a stock, you act offended that you would even be approached. I don't understand why anyone would care about an ad on at ballpark or on TV or pictures of offices or of mining equipment. They could be fake, they could be real, but really who cares? None if it has anything to do with what should be important to an investor. To me, they are red herrings to deflect from the more serious issues. Personally, I don't have the energy to investigate the individuals and any possible misdeeds in their past. I, like Henry V., am more concerned with the business model and the product claims that ABFG has made. My first red flag was that I know that gem quality (or any significant quantities) of emeralds are not known to exist in Madagascar. I can point to references on the internet that would corroborate this. This is important because ABFG prominently depicts sapphires and emeralds as the gemstones that they are dealing with. BTW: Sapphires are common on Madagascar. Additionally the business model that they describe where they control the process from mining the gems, to cutting and polishing, and then setting the stones and THEN distributing them would raise a red flag to anyone that is familiar with business processes. The reason for this is that it is terribly inefficient to control the process from start to finish as there is no opportunity to specialize. A distributor that bought the jewelery wholesale would be able to have a less expensive cost of goods sold than a company that mines, cuts, polishes, sets and distributes the jewelery because of this. If ABFG has found a way to change the paradigm to an extent that they can do things more cheaply by controlling the process from start to finish, then they will truly be successful. But until there is evidence of this through official financial documentation, it is perfectly reasonable for someone to call this into question. JXM
