Further to my comments yesterday about brokerage firm research (I used to be a Merrill broker), I see that Morgan Stanley went to a "strong buy" on JDEC on 08/31/98 at the eye watering price of 40!! Hence, buy at 40, sell at 13 (hold is the politically correct equivalent of a sell). Smart Money is right on their article but perhaps a tad early and Morgan Stanley is dead wrong. This is further evidence that brokerage firm research is an expensive ticket to the poor house. PD
