I know that many who are contributors to and observers of this thread are already Stratfor subscribers, but for those that aren't, they would do well to take jackie's advice and go through a few past GIU's with an eye to subscribing. I have found that their succinct and convenient daily summaries, e-mailed right to you each day, provide an unusually timely and insightful briefing on the elements of the international scene which will become of significant importance. They have a great ability to gather quality information from numerous sources and to present it clearly and briefly. To duplicate their ability to assemble and assess information would take investments in time, resources and energy not usually available to individuals - and it is provided at no cost to the subscriber.
