John: I didn't say I disagreed with his conclusions, I said they were superficial. Because they are superficial it is impossible to say from the internal evdidence and logic of his analysis whether they are right or wrong. It is impressionistic and journalistic.

The survey was superficial because it lacked information on the following:

Identity and qualifications of pollster, definition of time of survey, method of interview, population surveyed, definition and weighting of sample, ambiguity of questions, relevance of questions, bias of questions, statement of contractual, affiliations or other interests of pollster and respondents.
