lorrie, Good post. God was an ethnic cleanser. If you look at the evolutionary point of view as I do, its also important to note that the first big test of modern "Homo sapiens" or humans, as we biologists classify ourselves, was to emerge out of Africa about 200,000 years ago and displace the other hominid species such as the archaic Neandethals and Homo erectus. In fact, some evidence exists that there were actually some Homo erectus living in the Balkans, Croatia specifically only about 20,000 years ago but that they were eliminated by the presence of modern humans. Our species has thrived upon ethnic cleansing. -John
