Sam, I am not educated enough to know who wrote the Bible(Old or New testament) I only know that even as a youth, the Old testament never rang true for me. It portrays God (IMO) as an mean, spiteful God, who is capable of great violence oftentimes for little reason. A God who is willing to kill people for no more than their nationality. that is behavior that I can not imagine any civilized person engaging in, let alone God. Mark This is only my opinion, I am not suggesting that anyone need or should think as I do.
