DARBES - <20 useful chips or better out of a possible well over 200+ per wafer takes us into the black.> Any self respecting fab type manager that had to report these types of numbers would be utterly ashamed. In my world, the 20500=$10000 would not be the calculation of interest. For example, let's say a respectable process would be to yield 160 DPW. The calculation of interest then becomes (160-20)=140500=$70000, is how much money WE'RE LOSING PER WAFER!!! If I'm Big Wig Fab Manager, someone's head is going to roll!! Food for thought. PB
