"The deployment of the SAP front-end software, SAPGUI, via Citrix MetaFrame server-based computing software provides many customer benefits, including faster implementation of SAP R/3... "Enterprise customers are increasingly looking to deploy ERP solutions through a server-based computing architecture in order to enjoy rapid application deployment..."

Thread,
This is what I was trying to say in my previous post on why CTXS technology will be valuable to the ERPs and ASPs. In this case, SAP doesn't have to re-write all their software for thin client computing customer if they deploy it over a Metaframe operating system. In other words, they don't have to go the Java route. And users of SAP deployed over a CTXS operating system don't have to worry about the computing power of their desktops.

Same goes for ASPs who may want to deploy SAP's software to their customers. They can deploy SAP, and other ERP software, rapidly as the need arises.

This is pretty big news that I think will take time for the analyst to digest. A few more announcements like these and it will be very clear.
