Deceiving other posters in this way is an act of fraud. Indicates to me that they have a personal vendetta and that they do not have sincere concerns regarding fraud. Multiple personas is always a severe problem for honest investors to watch out for...it is apparent on many threads.

2. They are current members of SI and do not want their SI identities known, so they are posting under different monikers. [a violation of the Terms of Use on SI]

4.Gnet offered free registration to the public to enable people to post in the "Coffee Shop".
People registered to join in the conversations in the "Coffee Shop".

You forgot one other reason that I can think of. People who come in through the Coffee Shop entrance don't leave a traceable credit card number...
