For me to believe 600 to 1000, I'd need to smoke something.

The jump from 600MHz to 1000MHz is the same percentage as from 300MHz to 500MHz, or 150MHz to 250MHz, or from 3MHz to 5MHz (which didn't occur all that long ago.)

The cool thing is that Intel has created so much FUD around MHz, that AMD should be able to profit nicely off Intel's own nonsense.
