Sloan Electronics Follow Up to Previously Announced Business Activity

SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1999--Sloan Electronics, Inc. (OTC BB:SLEL - news) released a follow up to previous press releases to advise the public on the status of its business. Sloan is presently working towards the completion of its previously announced acquisitions, however, no closings have taken place as of this date.

The company is also in the process of hiring an Internet consultant with ties to multiple on line educational companies and is continuing preliminary discussions with potential acquisition targets in this growing market. The company hopes to move forward in the on line educational business as the company sees the distance learning market as one of the few areas of the Internet with profit potential.

two potential acquisitions.

''I believe that we are on the right track to become profitable, however, we must take our time in closing any transaction that we are working on so that the transaction will have the greatest opportunity for shareholder value and be at the right price,'' said Paul Sloan, President.
