Strange, but in Bob Woodward's book "The Agenda", he mentioned that Bill Clinton once told aids that he would have enjoyed being President during WWII. One more piece of evidence that the President is a few bricks shy of a load. That is what I have referred to as his "FDR envy". Propaganda, to be effective, must be believable, and it must also prepare people for likely scenarios: the insertion of ground troops, a deal far short of Rambouillet, heavy Russian involvement.
