Did he really say that, "as goes Iridium so goes the industry?" If so, that analyst does not have a lot of credibility with me. I have never been a fan of Iridium because the tremendous initial and recurring costs did not seem to me to justify the market. I thought ORBCOMM's message-based system was and is a better business model. And if by "the industry" he mean commercial space, there is a whole lot more than LEO comm constellations.
