"Apple to sell 1/3 of it's stake in ARM Holdings. "

Hi Mark, Apple has sold off shares of ARM on a regular basis since its IPO and is expected to continue to do so in the future. However from where have you heard that Apple will sell off another 1/3 of its holding? Please let me know so I can double check the story and do some calculations.

Just to make sure this isn't simply a mix up with previous divestment, here is a brief summary of events regarding ARM.

Apple had about 12.1 mil shares of ARM following IPO on April 17th 1998.
Sold about 3 mil shares of ARM on Oct. 17, 1998
Sold about 2 mil shares of ARM on Jan 26, 1999
4 for 1 stock split on April 20, 1999.

By the way ARM trades in the US in the form of ADS under the symbol ARMHY. One ARMHY is equivalent to 3 shares of ARM that trades in London.
