Al--- yes the risks are greater and losses are to be expected--- BUT the potential gains are much greater too... basically it depends on the individual stomach and acceptance of limited losses and high gains.. A Sense of Adventure.. Its only money...

Alex: Are you implying that there are no risks involved in indexing?
I don't think so...take another look at cisco...no risk here? Upward potential far greater with coms than indexing. That is why many (look at volumn) are placing their chips on the table with 3com.
