The press release says he doesn't start until June 1, though. I've been surprised at how tight the lid has been on this thing until now, if a deal is really done I'd be amazed of they could keep it ziplocked another couple of weeks.

After meeting with Nacchio at H&Q last week, I would be very surprised if anything happened with QWST and BBFW near term. Their strategy is fiber, then DSL and some future consideration of LEASING BBFW facilities, as necessary. And as this was primarily limited to a group of core QWST holders, I didn't take this as market posturing, fwiw.
