Alrex and Lotemax avoids side effect due to increased intra occular pressure. ( Avoiding glaucoma).

There is always a concern about infection versus allergy. and the possibility of Herpetic keratitis. That theoretically can be worsen by steroids.

This is not that much of an issue for opthalmologist, as they can tell most of the time.

It is very important to market Alrex and Lotemax as to their safety;
and to overcome some old concern.
