Globe says Microforum investors peeved Microforum Inc MCF Shares issued 18,133,966 1999-05-03 close $7.8 Tuesday May 4 1999 The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, May 4, edition that Microforum retreated $1.30 to $7.80 yesterday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The Globe's Market Movers column says Internet stocks south of the border were soggy once again, dampening investor passion for Toronto-based Microforum. The market also seems a little peeved there will soon be a lot more Microforum shares knocking around, says The Globe. On Friday, Microforum said underwriters led by Yorkton Securities will buy 3.1 million units at $6.50 apiece. Each unit can be swapped for one share and half of a share-purchase warrant.
