kevin,

this isnt just about mpath....we have internet ipos being released every few hrs and the quality is definitely going down....with the tech sector on shaky grounds, all internets very volatile....most are down 35-50% from early april peaks....im not sure if the trend of internets moving up after a fews(before coverage) will hold anymore....ipo game definitely has changed as of late....im still holding my original shares, but starrting to wonder if i should have flipped at $50.

They very well could be. However, not everyone who owns shares is a long-term investor (especially this soon after the IPO). Many are day-traders, short-term traders and flippers. Until they all get shaken out, it'll hard to tell what a fair price is.

FYI, the IPO priced at $18, not $31. It may have opened in the secondary market in the $30s, but the IPO price is still $18.
