dennisp, I hesitate to blame this on DirectPC, but it is a possibility. The only reason I suggest that is that I heard that DirectPC "aggregates" packets and sends them in big blocks. Since Live Charts (and QCharts) send very small packets, this could be a problem. But I really wouldn't want to blame them when the problem could simply be an overloaded server on our end. If you get data most of the time, then occasional problems are likely due either to us or to connectivity between us and DirectPC, not to their technology.

Dennis,

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

make sure you have the latest Virutal Machine for your browser.

Get ping plotter or use tracert to check your Path to quote.com servers.

Chris did indicate that they are sometimes overloaded but you seem to be unwilling to perform basic diagnostic steps that can make your life easier.
