Cindy, I'll start over. My mind is clear, you tell me what "the big picture" is. Please try and be specific, I swear I will pay attention.

I'm trying to learn. Help me out here.

ittle bits and pieces of here and there laws that fail to bring adequate justice and
perspective to the big picture.

Ah, I figured we would get to Justice (you forgot to capitalize it!) sometime.

Remember what William Gaddis said: "Justice? -- You get it in the next world, in this world you have the law."

Unfortunately for you, the judge in this case will look at the law -- indeed, will look at the letters of the law -- in deciding what to rule. I regret to say that he or she is unlikely even to consider your opinions.

I have a hypothetical question(s).

What if [reference deleted] continues to pursue this case and, as a consequence, draws more and more attention to the idea that they may be the internet equivalent of a highway billboard. What if they experience declining revenues as reputable companies find other press release outlets? How do they differentiate between the loss of credibility they allege the WN3 caused and the harm they have done to their own reputation?Anyone?

Not that I think this will happen.

Another FAQ suggestion: Why aren't all the folks from that planet identified as 'coffee shop'?

Little bits and pieces of here and there laws that fail to bring adequate justice and perspective to the big picture.

Okay Counsellor. Let's see you reference some case law. How about examples (given the circumstances, I think we'll want material from Federal trials) of cases in which the judge defined "little bits and pieces", "here and there laws", and the "big picture", and ruled in favor of the latter.

This is one of your funniest posts ever, Cindy. Thank you!
