Don't know the answer to either question. I don't even know IF there will be a deal. I would say it's a guessing game.

About this guessing game on what AOL, MCI/Worldcom and Msft will do. Well, I just heard that MCI/WCOM is out also. That leaves Msft at this time. I guess we are back to ground zero or let's say that we know now that AOL was not desperate enough to get in on this deal.

So why is the stock down again? Probably because of investors who thought that something should have happened and it didn't, so they sold, and WS is not cooperating either.
