WELCOME TO BEFRIEND THE TREND TRADING

Befriend the Trend Trading (BTTT) consists of 3 simple rules:

a. find stocks in the middle of a strong up- or down-trend that are
experiencing a short-term correction or trend reversal;
b. time your entry to catch the resumption of the trend or the
momentum of the reversal;
c. time your exit to miss any further weakness in the trend or
reversal.

I work full-time, so I have designed the system to be simple and not time-consuming. For that reason, the indicators
used by the system
are few: chart patterns, trendlines, Stochastics, and the 40MA. There
are variants of the system which use other indicators (MACD, OBV, ROC,
e.g.) but these are the foundations of all our trades.

So far the BTTT system really seems to work. I've been trading the
system with real money for about 14 months now, and my trading account
is up over 130%. Recent gains (since March 1st, 1999) have been as
high as 18% total account return per week!

We trade both big, highly liquid blue chips and smaller cap issues
trading under $20 (no pennies!). Contributors are welcome to post their own picks for others to consider, so long as
an accompanying link to timely.com (use these parameters:
timely.com.

We also encourage general discussion around stock trading (as a hobby,
not profession)and technical analysis. The thread is committed to
general education, and is always on the lookout for valuable free websites for TA and charting.

No hyping allowed. All are welcome, regardless of experience.

Good luck, and happy trading, TC.>>
