If all he did was say he was an investigator and he wasn't it would not be fraud just another delusional whacko. It would only be fraud if he did so in an effort to gain, such as by soliciting business or by attempting to influence the price of stocks.

Yes, It's a crime to claim to be a Military member, Police , or Peace Officer when you are not one. If the use of a badge or credentials is involved the crime goes higher up the felony chain.

Let's say hypothetically, a poster worked for a state. He claimed to be an ummmmmmmm.. investigator!

Let's say, hypothetically, that a poster who's already an SI member opened a Coffee Shop account. Or that a poster who was terminated by SI for clear offenses opened a Coffee Shop account.

Get my drift?
