It's easy to see the need that ISPs and ASPs have for SANs.

"GeoCities' MTI storage installation is configured with 350 Sun Microsystems servers running Sun's Solaris operating system and Apache Web software.

GeoCities is currently installing new capacity at a rate of 100 gigabytes per week. The GeoCities facility, located in Santa Clara, Calif., has more than 200 MTI StorageWare systems with a total capacity of more than 10 terabytes."

HWP's recently announced intriguing strategy of "revenue-sharing" with this high growth internet market will mitigate the costs and speed the adoption of FC SANs (and hopefully boost market awareness).

BTW, did anyone notice that BRCD's Industry SIC 7372 is an Internet classification? Wonder what that will do to the IPO?
